i just came in here to post a picture of the sword i got today too! it looks great! size is pretty nice, definitely not too small for sure. i'm going to make myself so angry while painting it, but so far i'm really liking it. you can see the minerva antenna down beside him too. they shipped these two pieces in a box big enough for two onslaughts. just nuts.

Yeah, Shapeways always ships in those huge boxes filled with packing peanuts. I think it's because of the flat rate they have with UPS, it covers a specific type of package only.
Still, glad your finally came in as well. I see you took the time time remove the paint decos on your Stronghold, so odds are you'll paint the sword better than I will!
I prefer applying decals on

Oh man... I want this badly now. Even though yesterday I got my TAW God Sword in the mail, this one looks a lot better for stronghold. The ONLY things that the TAW sword have, that this one doesn't is being pre-painted (no big deal  ) and the TAW has a detailed handle, instead of just a peg.
I may order one of these and paint it up, since I just got into painting figures, and have Stronghold dual weild this and TAW.
Now my only dilemma is how to attach the TAW shield onto Stronghold's arm and back...

Uh, no, they never have in my case except the one time I ordered a Sterling Silver item from their materials. Customs wanted an additional $30, but not UPS.

Do they only use UPS? If so I won't be buying one of these swords, or anything Shapeways, ever.
No offence to the OP though, that sword looks FANTASTIC! I want one so bad.
