Let's see your TFcon 2012 Headmasters

Okay it's been nearly a month since TFcon. Plenty of time for some of us to come up with bodies for our Headmasters. So, did everyone stay cannon and grab a Hosehead body for Garrison? Or did you go outside the box? And what the heck to to with Cortex?

I'll kick it off; as soon as I read the bio, I knew I wanted to have Universe Countdown's body for Garrison. For the look is a "brother" to Stronghold. Cortex was a little trickier. I wanted a pretender body, but didn't know how to make a shell, so I improvised and gave him a cybernetic/android whatever body.

Wow! I really like the use of Countdown instead of Hosehead. Looks way better. I just may try it myself. Is it easy to do? Do you just unscrew Countdowns head and pop on Garrisson?

Yeah, there's a single screw in the back of the head, then just pry the two halves apart. The neck has a peg already. Garrison is not a real tight fit, but he's a display piece. My 6 year old won't be playing with it so not worried.

Wow...what an awesome idea. That actually worked out surprisingly well. I think I'm gonna have to do this myself. If it's not a super tight fit you can always bulk up the neck peg with some black tape.

Awesome! The colour scheme of Countdown says Garrison was meant for his body the whole time, not Hosehead. Him and Stronghold look fantastic together!

Re: Let's see your TFcon 2012 Headmasters

I was not able to attend TFcon or purchase any of the exclusives this year because I was laid off work. I might buy some later when my job starts back up. Until then I did make my own little Garrison. I happen to own the repro Gran headmaster being sold on ioffer, and I put it on a spare Hosehead body, and give it the sword from a KO Predacon toy. The result was the poor-man's Garrison!

Checking my ebay purchase records, paid $17.01 for the head a couple months ago.

Like with Stronghold, I made a wikialpha page for Garrison. If anyone wants to donate me to add a picture of their Garrison custom to the gallery, just post permission here for me to you one of your pictures.
