However you want, I guess? The version on the left is the most commonly used version. I think the right side is the Studio OX version, which more closely follows the placement from the actual toy.
For that matter, I think Megatron's fusion cannon also fluctuated in its placement, no? Sometimes on the upper arm, sometimes on the forearm?
The forearm seems a lot more versatile. Accurate or not, that would be my personal preference.
