Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Hunting goes in tandem with grocery shopping. Most stores are conveniently located near each other and of course metro stations hence I don't calculate gas money spent.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

I take the bus and with a little Opus card trick it means I can do a round trip to the mall with one ticket.

Anyway 20$ for RID simplified deluxes with less paints? Are they kidding? Is that TRU being dicks or Hasbro asking more of retailers? And they're not even bigger. A dollar or two more, I can live with, but jumping to 20$ is ridiculous. I only want Strongarm anyway so I guess I'll pass on Steeljaw.

Regarding target.

Stock will fill up in intervals. 30%, 50% 70% and so on. Sales and stocking starts in two weeks. Again this depends on the store and location.

Currently all clothing is 50% to 90% off at Target, seems that's the stock they want to move first.

I was told by a friend who works at one that they are not going to reduce EVERYTHING since some items are more worth it to return to the distribution center and sent back to the USA, what those items are who does not know but he figures the electronics section (TVs, video games, ect)

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

I was told the same exact thing in regards to electronics .

Ex. Videogames marked down to 19.99$ has a mark up of around 1$ or 2$.

Same deal for most electronics apparently.

But restock will happen.

You know the minute I entered Target today. I was expecting no smiles and no hellos.

Nope. Each young lady that passed by smiled and said hello. Even the guy restocking the amiibos said hello. He's one that gave me all that information.

He also said that friends were the ones to first inform them of the sad news.

A lot of employees are getting a 2 weeks paid even they have been laid-off. It's kinda interesting what's going on there

I'm just sad Target's leaving.

They mostly hired cute young wimmin on Corbusier.

I'm going to miss that the most.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

I wonder if Target will be clearing out their shelving and fixtures like Zellers did, or just shipping it all back to be used in the States?
