Re: Has anyone ever used hobby link japan?

I used them for my mp wheel jack and bumble

Was great! Fast shipping and they have an order on hold concept like others.

Package arrived well protected

If you catch the pre order discount it was much cheaper then buying local

Yep I've used them for a few years now and the shipping has been great. I love the prices when you pre-order and also they let you make the pre-order without having to pay for the full item.

Shipping costs were reasonable and fast too.

Fantastic. MP Bee and Wheeljack were around $5-6 to ship, IIRC. It was like $67 each with shipping. Beats the $105+ I would spend with a Canadian company.

Dealt with hlj a couple of times, they pretty good and professional, prompt to reply to messages and queries and packs your item very well. The only issue I can recall was when they posted 50% off shipping using FedEx. I seized the opportunity and thought I can save more, it turns out that you have to pay the remaining 50% once the item was delivered in front of your doorstep. It SUCKS big time! Lesson of the morale; Be patient and your items will be ship even if you choose the cheapest method available. :-)

Many, many, many times, with no complaints, I used to buy gundam kits from them frequently. It's been my experience that if you stick to sal or ems shipping, you've got about a 50/50 shot of dodging customs
