On reading the title of this thread I was baffled as to why a fried chicken chain was going to have dino cassettes as their kids meal toys...

KFC is an entirely stupid name for a 3rd party company. I wonder if the real KFC is going to go after them like world wild life fund went after the world wrestling federation. I interested in seeing these in Dino mode.

It just sucks they're not the same thickness as G1 tapes. I wonder if they will all combine!

I was told that after the Steeljaw and Ramhorn toys, all the cassettes will be G1 thickness.

Great! I hope these are marked improvements over the G1 tapes, and not just re-articulated rehashes like the beastbox one (diff. company, I know).

I don't think that they will be designed by the same designer. The Ironpaw and Rhinohorn were based on designs by Eagle's TF done with permission. Later cassettes are not designed by him. They have several people working at that company.
