Beast Wars comics

I am looking to read the Beast Wars comic like before they became Maximals and Predacons and after the Great War and how they came up with the Pax Cybetronia, The Tripedacus council and and the Maximal Elders. Is there a comic for this? If so I would be very pleased.

I don't think there is. The Pax Cybertronia was a long time before the BW series started, and the Maximals/Predacons had been part of those factions for just as long.

As for a prequel to BW, I think there was a short Botcon comic that came with the Dawn of Future's Past box set. But I think I'm mistaken about that.

There are some IDW comics set as part of the BW reality, not exactly sure what they contain, though.

While there is no full length story of after the "Great War", there is a few text stories and "flashbacks" in various medias. The Pax Cybertronia is still over all very vague in what happened but the Botcon comic "The Wreckers #1" showed a few things that went down like the time before the Maximal upgrade. A text story by Simon Furman which was later retconed out also touched on what happened after the great war and the peace created.
