Re: Showcase In Box or Out of Box?

Everything save my masterpiece stuff is opened eventually. I am scared to open my Megatron...

Fun fact: there are some toys that I have had for more than 6 years that I have not opened yet, but I still plan too.

Re: Showcase In Box or Out of Box?

The vast majority of my stuff is free from their prison. They are toys and I do like playing with them sometimes. Pretty much anything still in the box will be opened at some point... I just have not gotten around to it yet. I still refuse to admit that Alternators is over until I open up that last one.

So in answer to your question.... A little from column A and a little from column B.

Re: Showcase In Box or Out of Box?

Despite knowing that most of my toys won't actually increase in value significantly in the future, I still keep the boxes for future storage, but I do throw away blister cards.

There's two rare situations where I have a toy MISB. First, it's gotta be a toy I like so much I need to have a second one just in case the first one gets lost or broken. Second, it's a figure that just happens to look better displayed MISB rather than loose.

There was a time when I got two of everything. One to open, and one to keep MISB. Realistically, I just don't have enough room (or money) for that.

Now, if I was really crazy and had all the money and space in the world. I'd have one MISB, one opened in robot mode, and a third opened in alt mode... good luck for triple changers and the like!
