I am going through the same thing. I have already opened him and looked, but I am a little concerned with fiddling with him, so I have kept him in the box on a shelf. I would by crushed if I broke him.

I agree... if you want to keep it MISB you should get an extra one. It is meant to be displayed (esp. if you have MP-01/20 Anniv Prime).

That's crazy, there's a "Slippy" on that CGCC site I go to.. heh

Anyway, I bit the bullet and opened the box. I'm a little surprised by the lack of diecast parts compared to Prime! I suppose it's easier to support itself though, as he doesn't seem all that sturdy.

Anyway, a very cool lookin' piece, he'll look good next to Prime

I wonder what the next (non-repaint) MP will be.

Open that puppy up and expose him to the cosmic rust like the rest of ours!

Re: To box, or not to box..

I never looked at keeping something MISB for the price value. If I keep something MISB, it's because I like it in the box, or I want to have one that is unopened. (for example, I really like the Revoltech packaging, which is why I have an extra of the Convoy.) The dollar value does nothing for me. That's what a savings account and an investment portfolio are for. I just collect these things for myself regardless of the reasons why others do it, so I say just do what makes you feel happy. I know that's a bit Disney, but whatever.
