At the parts party, there's generally more of an emphasis on trading, rather than selling. I mean, if you're just going to sit there and sell your stuff, that's kind of unfair to the dealers who paid for space in the dealer room saturday and sunday, right? Also, bartering is a lot of fun.


Do you have more specific questions about TFcon? It's a little hard to tell you what to expect. There's the social events on the friday, on saturday and sunday, there's door prizes, guests from a variety of mediums, panels, contests, the biggest TF dealer room in Canada (Saturday) and a huge dealer room full of TF, GI Joe, Star Wars, etc. (Sunday), new people to meet, etc. etc.

It's cool, I know you meant to say "Pant Party". I know that's why I'll be going... for the Pants Party...

Alsofor any first timers, do you yourself a favor and pre-register so that you get early admission into the dealer room.

It's shocking how busy it is at 10:00 a.m. and a TON of stuff will be snapped up by eager fans during the early admission hour.

Just an FYI. It's totally worth it.

Ok then I try a list of all questions that come to my head.

1. I won't be there Friday because of school, I plan on leaving Montreal at midnight. Am I missing something huge Friday?

2. At what hours TFCon open Saturday and Sunday? My brother and I don't plan on renting a hotel room, we are mostly there to find TFs that interest us and buy them.

3. Beside the paying the train, the entrance fee (I think its 25$?) and the TF toys, is there anything else to pay?

4. What kind of TF toys I can find? Hasbro only? Takara's? Recent ones? Old series?

5. Can I bring my camera to take photos and have some souvenir? Its also my first time leaving Montreal and being in Toronto.

6. If we decide to rent a hotel room, how much can I expect for it?

7. Are the TF toys from sellers all high priced? Or I can find some at very cheap price? Are they all MISB?

yeah, i pre-register myself but I don't make it in til Sat aft, might be a bit of a line-up to get it though
