Netflix Soundwave - What's the deal?

I'd wait if I were you guys. Soundwave and Bumblebee are too popular of characters for Hasbro to not do a wider release (that was a weird sentence). In other words, I'd just wait and not overpay for them.

Actually, seems like almost everyting that is "exclusive" shows up elsewhere later as of late.

When wave 1 first came out, I never saw a single scrapface and then gone. Hope this wave does better. -_-

The wave two deluxes were spotted in the US today. So shoud hopefully make thier way north soon.

Gotta get a bumblebee and soundwave! Hopefully the price will drop a lot on ebay now that NA has our releases. I couldn't find where to pre-order them and now it's too late to. Fingers crossed!

There really WEREN'T any pre-orders. It wasn't like they just all sold out fast, most of the retailers never even had them. So you didn't really miss out... it's just a question of how available they will be now.

Wave 1 was largely easy to find, give or take.

The only wave 1 deluxe I ever saw in-store was a single Hound

My local WM got a case of voyagers back then; I remember having Megs in my hand and passing on him

Nowadays doubled-back on my stance and looking to get one, but of course all gone now

Really? sorry to hear it.. I saw all of the figures multiple times for a good month if not two. That was across Ottawa and Gatineau, but I would note that there was always just one or two of the figures at a time when I did.

Looking back, I do find that they were seriously limited and short lived, especially with the whole "let's fill the stores (both Walmart and TrU) with Siege figures (from almost all waves it seems) that we're having now.

Megatron was the one that I hesitated the most on, but I just ended up painting my "normal"Siege one as I couldn't justify buying just a repaint of Megatron, and didn't like those black lines on his chest... and in the end, I'm glad I did... he ended up looking better than the Netflix one anyways.
