Transformers Movie DVD Release Date listed on Amazon.ca

Amazon.ca reveals what appears to be a release date for the Transformers Movie on DVD as October 27, 2007. However this is likely a mistake though since DVDs are usually released on Tuesdays, not Saturdays.

UPDATE: It's being reported by multiple sources that the release date will be October 16.

I hope that date (or close to it is right). Seems too fast though... doesn't it. I was expecting closer to Christmas.

I tend to agree that it seems too fast. Especially since it's gonna start it's IMAX run in a couple of weeks.

Apparently Spider-man 3 is Oct 30th, FF2 is Oct 9th and Transformers has been pushed in between the two of them. Man October looks busy.

Rumors are even saying Oct 16th, for TF dvd release though IMAX is re releasing it on the 21st of Sept. Who knows?

As Super Megatron mentioned it wont be released on a Saturday, no DVD or VHS ever has before. The entire industry is based around that tuesday release day. I'm still hoping for October 16th myself.

The October 16 release date would be awesome if they stick too that though I suspect the IMAX release will push that back closer to the end of October.

The guy I buy most of my HD DVDs from says October 16th... date came from his distributor.

I agree most DVDs come out on Tuesday, but didn't the movie also release in theatres on a non-traditional day, i.e. Tuesday (and advanced screening on Monday)? My only complaint if it does come out so early will it include the extra footage of the IMAX release

Hey guys!

I work at a major DVD retail store. Our computer system lists the release date on October 16. A Two-Disc Special Edition & a Single Disc Version. No info on special features though.
