Re: so whos into batman?
Strictly speaking of the DC Universe I'll say that Batman is my favourite character of the bunch.
I don't collect much in the way of Bats but I used to enjoy reading some of the graphic novels and I really like the recent Arkham Asylum/Arkham City games. The old movies were fun in a campy way. The new movies 1000 times better. Nothing comes close to capturing the heart of Batman like the games though. Spot on.

Re: so whos into batman?
Superman is my all time favorite, but Batman is a close second.
The Dark Knight trilogy is THE trilogy for me. Especially TDKR. The scale and scope of it was tremendous. I think it reached heights no other superhero movie has ever reached. Epic, is what that was. I know it has flaws, but I'll take ambition with flaws, than inside the box and perfect, if you know what I mean.
Some of my favorite graphic novels: The Dark Knight Retuns, Court of owls, The Long Halloween, etc.
I love the DC Animated films. The best of the bunch was Under the Red Hood and The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 (can't wait for part 2!!!) and of course the original Batman animated series.
Yeah. I love Batman.

Re: so whos into batman?
I love the Batman universe and have since I got my first comic book, Batman year 3, part one. I also have a great love for the various cartoon versions of Batman; TAS, The Batman (under rated), Brave and the bold and the various DC direct versions.
I just saw the BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS and was blown away. I actually teared up when he gave the operating table line...

Re: so whos into batman?
Dude, I thought Peter Weller was great as Batman. His voice was perfect for an aging Batman.

Untill I heard the Fat Man on Batman I had forgot that Weller was the voice, but he was cast perfectly. I'm not sure where that story fits into the Batman cannon now, given that the post Dark Knight returns really focuses on Jason Todd's death and how it affected Bruce. Perhaps it is more considered a one off, not conected to the Bat universe.
