Universe Autobot Blaster Bio

Bio: Working alongside his friend PERCEPTOR, AUTOBOT BLASTER has organized a series of resistance cells to fight against ever more organized DECEPTICON attack squads. He is the communications and data expert, maintaining detailed internal records of all personnel and mission reports. In vehicle mode, he can travel faster than light speed to hand-deliver orders or information, or emit high-speed encoded radio-bursts up to 20 thousand miles. Together with FLASHBACK, he is also a powerful warrior. Both partners are always more than ready for a fight.

So I read the bio on the back of Blaster's box and I have two questions:

1. Where is his friend Perceptor and what does he transform into?

2. Who the heck is FLASHBACK??!?!!?

Can anybody help me out?

1. Perceptor= G1 character that changes to telescope. Not in Universe

Correction on the correction, if this is Universe/Classics continuity. Then Perceptor is a missile tanker (the Legends class repaint of Red Alert).

Also Flashback is the name of his condor (who is somehow now also a minicon), which oddly has a different name, Blockrock, in the instructions. Blockrock MAY be a homage name to G. B. Blackrock of the Marvel G1 comics (First appearing in issue #5, famous for it's "Transformers Are All Dead" Shockwave cover)

I never really paid attention to the legends class figures... or Onslaught would be a missile Tanker and a Swat Assault Truck. Which would you choose?

It's not really a cassette slot, but it can open. Blockrock transforms into cylindrical thingy (I'm not sure what it is) and goes into the slot.
