Sears Wishbook and online: Onslaught is $34.99

Got the Sears Wishbook (X-Mas catalog) today. There's 2 pages of TFs: TFA and Classicsverse 2.0 stuff. Nothing in there we can't already buy at retail and all of it at normal prices... except that Onslaught (Classics/Universe Ultra Class) is listed prominently at $34.99 instead of the $39.99 usual Ultra class price (right?). No sign of Powerglide or Silverbolt.

Prices in effect Aug 13th so these are live. It also pointed to sears.ca so over there I went - Onslaught is on sears.ca for $34.99 too and can be ordered (I went to the point it wanted me to login, so stock and shipping are unsure).

More interesting, thinks I, is the pricematch potential in terms of taking the Wishbook into WalMart or TRU and pricematching there at $35?

Also, if he's in store, its rare cheaper price than the usual.

Also of note: They have some of the new Marvel Crossover TFs on sears.ca for %10 off until the 29th. So $17.99 - not a huge savings, but hey.

I have NO affiliation with Sears, by the way. Just passing on the hinkfo.

there is a $2 handling fee even if you ship the item to the nearest Sears. So at the end it is the same price.

Question Re: Sears Wishbook and online: Onslaught is $34.99

just slightly off-topic but does anyone know if the Sears retail stores (bricks 'n mortar) will carry the Universe figures?

Re: Sears Wishbook and online: Onslaught is $34.99

The few sears I usually check have had pretty barren toy departments lately. I don't think they really ramp up untill pre Christmas.
Probably most dissapointing is the Eaton Centre Sears which hasn't had more than a handful of transformers since the 1st wave of movie figures. A few have had animated, but I haven't seen any universe yet.
