MP09 (Hasbro) Rodimus knees. Grrr
Decided to take out my Rodimus today, which I've never had an issue with. I was telling my wife a lot of people won't transform him out of fear he will break.....
Well doesn't it just figure....the knee joint broke as I was showing her the weak points. SOB!!!
Anyways, looking on ebay for the replacement knees, there is a few. Looks like most of them are the same. There's even metal ones. Has anyone purchased the replacement knees? Are they stronger than the original? Anyone get the metal ones?
I can't leave mine broken, it will drive me nuts. Advise, opinions needed!!
Thanx!

Do yourself a favor and grab the metal knee replacements. They make all the difference in the world.
ALSO! If you have the Black Rodimus you absolutely kneed them. *Snort*

Reason: Once you go black... you shatter your knees.

Punny!
I don't have the black one, but would still consider them. I don't think they would stand out too badly.

I have the 9B knees and they are really easy to switch out. There are how-to videos on this but still I haven't managed to do it yet lol.
Got mine from this guy. Also, there is a lot of good feedback on the metal replacements knees too.

Yea, I hadn't read about knee issues with the Hasbro version either, but alas, here we are. boo. Wonder if age deteriorated them...

I went ahead and order metal ones, may as well go for long lasting option instead.

I have the exact same as Multiplex two sets one for my 9a and one for my 9b.... If metal knees are going to cost a lot more than these don't bother as this knee kits are great and I play with my guys lots and have no issues at all after the knee replacement
