Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

I'm 20minutes from Pt Roberts, 15 on a good day. Gas is much cheaper in the states for 92 Oct as well, so it's a win win.

Would have still preferred if Chimung didn't raise his markup, oh well.

Still a great time to be collecting

Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

I ordered the loose mp 09 rodimus. It was supposed to be version 2, but what I got was a frankensteined version 1. I can't remember who I talked to, but they gave me a full refund and they paid 20USD shipping to get the item back to them.

Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

Hi All. Does anyone know their policy with respect to payment on pre-orders? Am I paying when the order is placed or when they are shipping the item out? I can't find that info on the website and my email about it has not received a response. It's been 3 days. Thanks.

Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

This thread answered the CAD vs. USD question, thanks! "Canadian" stores that deal in USD. Arrgh! Is it treason? A seditious act? Can't stand it. Won't buy from it. Doesn't matter in the end though. Who goes to a Japanese restaurant for a hamburger? Or to Burgerking for sushi? Transformers are the "sushi" of that analog so probably best to get them from Japan anyway.

When I got the KO MP Ratbat from them it came in an empty 5x4x4 box just wrapped in bubble wrap.

I've been saying this for years about Reprolabels.

I also don't like Canadian stores without the option of paying in CAD, however I will attest that TFD's customer service is top notch.

Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

Has anyone from Canada that has ordered from here been hit with a duty charge?

Re: TF-Direct.com - Pricing

I placed 3 orders from them and have never paid duty and had the items in less than 10 days very fast shipping. My orders were all over $50 the last one was for Apollyon no duty. The items are very well packed too.

Do they claim the actual value of the items on the customs forms?
