Jesus I can't get any of the trailers to play without freezing. Is Ridley Scott involved? I may just watch this just to see Jared Leto. His take on Joker was memorable. The Romantic comedy guy is questionable for this movie. Ryan Gosling. Bad choice.

Yep...Scott is Executive Producing.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Leto. Suicide Squad was a steaming pile of shite and his Joker only reinforced the unmatchable brilliance of Heath Ledger's portrayal. Loved seeing him hit rock bottom in Requiem For A Dream and take an axe to the head in American Psycho, though.

As for Gosling, well...dude can emote and he seems actually likeable. Plus he's Canadian so props there.

I thought Ledger's Joker was overrated. He was so annoying dealing with his constant excess of saliva and trying to walk funny... Leto's Joker is what the Joker should be: crazy, random and over the top.

I'm going to see GOTG2 tonight. Fell asleep re-watching the first one last night, hopefully it won't be the same today... lol

Ridley Scott used to be visionary...now he just rehashes Alien and Blade Runner...

He even has idea for Gladiator 2 to bring back Maximus. Let me guess...The Roman gods will resurrect Maximus to help them fight the growing number of a radical cult from Judea that advocates eating the flesh and drinking the blood of a demigod and condemns the Romans' life style.

I can't stand the first one.

Heathe was good but a mere shell of a Joker compared to Jared's character. I agree, Joker needs to be dark, insane, unpredictable and doesn't five a fuck about anyone. He's just plain intimidating. Jared Leto and Margo Robbie better get their own movie.
