Of note, I saw one MP Delta Magnus for 200$, a couple of MP-1s, some G1 Optimuses in loose in box. One G1 Bumblebee without rubsign for 60$. I'd say there were about two or three tables worth of various loose TFs. Didn't score anything except dolls for the wife.
I probably won't go next year. So far this year all the shows I've gone to have been a bust. Hoping TFCon TO will be better.

I didn't bring Transformers this time as a dealer because I was saving them for TFcon in July. Next Retro Expo I will have 4 tables of Transformers because it will be AFTER TFcon.
Also it is bigger then Toycon. Toycon is 32 tables, Retro Expo is 75 (Not counting outside)

They have a nice big Goldorak statue in that one.
Also, collectors have had luck in the past going to this place (only open friday, saturda and sunday):

Thanks for all of your suggestions, to everyone who has given recommendations!
I had visted Toysonfire/CMDStore before, very nice staff and interesting selection.
The Anime shop that was on the second or third floor on a building on the main street in Chinatown I think did close down, I do not think it was there when I was back 2 yrs ago.
I think I did also visit the Toy shop in Eatons Ctr, mostly boardgames but nice to know they also have some Transformers now as well. I assume EBGames there also has a similar selection to most places in Canada.
Does anyone know if MiniSo in Montreal, I think in that little plaza under the Cathedral carries any Transformers or KO figures there?
Thanks to all...

Around 2010, there was a "raid" in Chinatown and a lot of stores got closed including the Harmony Melodies (The upstairs store known for it's anime CD selection, posters, figures and long before, manga librarie)
Today all that really remains is the one that shares half the store with a dep, the newer one that opened which on the same street (Boul St. Laurent) towards Old Port, one inside Swatow Plaza (also Boul St. Laurent) on the bottom floor and a few small pop ups here and there that come and go with small selection.
The very first anime merch store in Chinatown still exists, originally they were INSIDE the Holiday Inn in Chinatown then moved around a lot and now exists tucked away next to Restaurant Orange Rouge on the main Chinatown walkway.
Hope that helps.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
My fav toy show in Montreal is the mini comic con. Not a lot of publicity on this one, but it is very nice - and free! I always find a thing or two, feels like an early christmas.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
I am thinking of selling my chug collection(around 150 figures if you count individuals from combiner teams) do you think getting a table at the next toycon would be a good idea? Maybe i will also have a few other things like ML and black series as well.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread
I'm thinking about doing the same at TFcon to clear a lot of my collection... Hundreds of Megatrons, hundreds of Bumblebees, over a hundred Starscreams, Movie figs, Chogokin, etc. That'd be so much easier than to list them all one by one...

I used to do toycon but since its so far from central montreal, there arent a lot of people. And the tables arent cheap either, meaning the prices in general arent that great (leading to less people attending). Ever since Retrocon started existing, I see no reason to venture out to toycon as a seller or buyer.
