I don't think most people are posting with that line of thought. It's more to provide information for those who are still waiting for their shipping confirmation, because it seems that preorders are so unreliable nowadays. We're always in a state of wondering whether or not we will actually receive the product. So it's nice to know that people are actually getting theirs.

If walmart actually cancelled people's cosmos I could maybe understand a few people being curious to see if anyone elses got cancelled. And sure a few posts about "ya mine shipped" might come in as reassurance.

But...
1. that didnt happen. No one has had any reason to worry they wouldnt get their orders yet.
2. just because someone elses order shipped doesnt mean yours will. Making the shipping notifications even more meaningless.
3. its not like there is no consequence to spamming the thread because now this thread is a sea of shipping notifications... good luck to anyone if someone comes here to post an actual sighting or restock.

If youre waiting on a scourge restock you basically need to have the thread's email notification set to instant cause it sells out so fast. But with the spamming of shipping notifications now you have to check the thread 20+ times a day just so the forum will email you notifications again.

The spamming is interfering with the main purpose of this thread... to help people actually order the toys they want.

I dont get how no one else sees it that way. Do you all just have email notification off or what?

I have email notification on, I'm just lucky that I can check the thread multiple times a day. It just doesn't bother me. I guess it's unnecessary after a few like you said, people just need to use their judgement when they decide to post.

The thread says ?and discussion? so sharing is fine. Don?t know why some of these guys get bent out of shape over it.

Complainers clog up the thread just as much and me complaining about the complainers does too 😂
