Quick review: Animated Activators Grimlock

PROS

-nicely articulated robot mode (head, arms can rotate 360 + move in and out, double jointed elbows with ball-jointed elbows, ball-jointed wrists, ball-jointed hips and knees, feet)
-nicely detailed with several paint apps where needed... pretty much matches the Voyager version
-satisfying dino mode (ok, it looks a bit funny from the front or from under, but it's decent for an Activators)
-poseable dino arms!
-poseable dino jaw!
-poseable dino legs
-RED Autobot symbol showing through the back in dino mode (actually the robot torso turned around in the belly)

CONS

-robot head cannot turn much, only slightly left and right
-hair-trigger mechanism (I guess I should be able to fix that)
-longish robot arms
-hollow lower dino legs/robot lower arms (when viewed from the rear)

Transformation sequence is pretty much the same as for Megatron (hard to explain, just check my video on YT). You only need to fold down the feet, lift the tail up and position the arms once the auto-transformation is done.

Another more than good addition to the Activators family.

Not bad for an Activator. But it is still an Activator, and they've not really wowed me so far.

Might have to pick this up to substitute for his larger counterpart.
