Repaints & Minor Mods DIY Combiner Wars Superion hands and feet tutorial

The Combiner Wars Supersion comes with very ugly hands and feet, and so far I only saw one 3rd party (PE) will release new hands and feet for it. God knows when and the price might be steep, so I decide to make my own.

1) Hands, that's easy, just use the hulk tank's hand, I won't bother explain more on it. Just take it off and find a proper connector.

2) Feet. I choose Cybertron Optimus Prime's feet, plus the Lego toy's joints, like the one in this picture. BTW, this Lego toy's joint is very good quality, feel like a ratchet joint, highly recommended!




Need to cut off inside the red rectangle part, so Lego parts can fit. Lego parts will provide the ankle articulation.





This is finished feet, secured with screws, so very stable.







Here is the finish effect. (I chose to paint both hands and feet in white)

With FOC Bruticus, same size, similar look and feel.





Decepticon, bring it on!

BTW, Echotransformer, why don't you start the project making the hands and feet for combiner wars figures? Like the one u did for FOC Bruticus.
I'm sure people will need for Superion, Stunticon, Defensor, and there are might be more.
No need to make as fancy as PE's, just solid, good looking and reasonable price will do.

Nice job. The default hands and feet are really ugly aren't they? The feet look good and the joints aren't that complicated. I may try to design some skinnier feet as well.

What hulk? Doesnt help if we have no clue who you're talking about or where to get the parts. Looks good. Well done but what hulk and what Lego pieces etc.?

You don't know? That's strange, because this hulk tank transformer is very famous and widely used in a lot DIY projects, mostly because of the hands. Let me show you here.
