Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
Seems about Right.
ROTF is a pretty bad movie.
That is all.
Cheers!

Seriously, if you're an actor and you can't laugh at yourself, you take yourself too seriously. And Megan Fox seems like one of those people
I bet Shia would show up if he was nominated though

I totally agree with this. I think the razzies are for movies that have every opportunity to be good but just aren't. Something like transmorphers has zero budget, no chance at talented actors, and has a script deliberately meant to ride the transformers hype, so there is no reason for it to be good.
Compare that to Transformers, where their budget should allow for everything to be done well, so there's no excuses for delivering a sub par movie. Just my thoughts.

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
TFs need to take a ribbing. BADLY.
Can we do a TF RAZZIES for worst molds of the year? I hope HASBRO don't take it to heart.
....or will they?

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
I don't watch this program but I think those fallen nominations were justifiable. EXCEPT for "worst supporting actress" Julie White. She was great in her role. It was her ROLE that sucked. The script. Her character. She is not at fault for the lines she got.

Interesting double speak.

I didn't bash the movie. Didn't praise it either. But there were tons of movies and actors that were shittier. I would have nothing against the Razzies if the people behind the concept were doing their homeworks seriously. But they don't. They just take 4-5 popular movies they probably haven't even seen and that are cool to hate and just go from there.

ACK!!! Robimus ya bastard!! You beat me to it!!
I think the Razzies should have an Avatar category... Worst Avatar of the year, I nominate Sigourney Weaver's... they somehow managed to make her look older than she is and ugly to boot!
As for the Razzies themselves, I think the entire process takes itself too seriously too. The Razzies should be a celebration of hilarity and irony. Not a bashing festival. The fact is that good actors sometimes have crappy roles, great scripts turn into terrible movies. It's always been this way and always will be. The Razzies should concentrate on that aspect, no just the worst movie, worst actor, worst etc... They should be the equivalent of sports bloopers.
Then again, it's easier to get eyes on your award show if you're actually bashing big names, I guess...

Re: ROTF leads the way in Razzie nominations
wow i dont agree in the slightest about avatar.
its my new favourite movie. i absolutely loved it. saw it 3x.
also i think the opposite. sig, weavers avatar i thought looked like a younger version of her.
but thats just my opinion. i know a few people that hated the movie. but people that hated that movie i think just hate movies. i dont see how anyone could hate it.
