lol the reason skywarp warmed his shelf is cuz he was a repaint of the wal-mart exclusive starscream XD This is a whole new mold so it'll get eaten up X3

Re: When to Expect Masterpiece Grimlock in Canada?

I wonder if he'll be packaged in his bot mode or dino mode. The dino mode would definetaly catch the eyes of any kids passing by more that his robot mode would. I have a strong feeling that this guy will sell very, very fast regardless of price.

if Hasbro is smart they WILL package Grimlock in dino mode; it's the mode most people remember him as.

same reason Preceptor and the Insecticons were packaged in vehicle mode. People recognised the modes man lol

I'll go against the grain and say that I don't think he'll sell crazy fast. Fact of the matter is he's a $70 kids toy and collectors, I believe, make up a small % of toy buyers. As well, unlike Ultimate Bumblebee, Grimmy dosen't have a recent bazillion dollar blockbuster movie to drive sales.

Yeah, 3003 Grimlocks between 65 stores... 46 per store. Try selling those.

XD sadly I do agree with UM as well...it may be Grimlock, and all the collectors (and scalpers) will buy these out like mad, but if it's Mrs. Jones and Little Tommy coming to Toys R Us toi get a toy, they'd probably buy a ROTF Scout or Deluxe fig due to the price point

this IS the North American market after all; TFs on this side of the pond are considered more toys than collectibles and are thus sold as such.

(btw...DON'T BEAT ME FOR SAYING THAT >_< lol)
