Re: RedOktobre's Employment Status Poll
So right. As a mechanic flate rate can kick ass. As long as there is work to do and you know what you are doing. Some days are harder than others, but when you get a 125 hour pay cheque for an 80 hour work week, it all makes it worth while. I think.

Re: RedOktobre's Employment Status Poll

Re: RedOktobre's Employment Status Poll
I'm a "complicated". I'm that starnge guy that your brother's girlfriend's sister's best friend's second cousin knows who hates the government and thus refuses to do any work "above the table". I'm lived across a fair deal of America and Canada, doing whatever comes my way that doesn't need to be declared on a tax form. Right now it's 'cottage country' work, meaning shoveling eight meters of snow off of old folks' homes in the winter and cleaning up summer places for annoying city people that like to clog the small towns and beaches during the warmer season weekends.

Re: RedOktobre's Employment Status Poll
i work full time as a corporate signage tech(pays the mortgage),then go home and spend another few hours in the garage doing autobody(yes, journeyman, but i was also lucky in being the first class at sait when they switched it all from a 4 year course to a 3 year course )which helps me pay for the ol' plastic crack addiction .then what ever other time/hours i have left in a day is spent butchering bots

Re: RedOktobre's Employment Status Poll
I work full time, 9.5hr days. 11 hours total from the time I leave for work til the time I walk back in the door. And that's only in the summer.
Winter is totally different & very complicated, but basically I'm on call 24/7 from Nov 1st to April 15.
