why was raiden never released in america?

i just got a raiden knock off, the quality isn't as good as the original, but overall i like the figure, if i had enough, i would buy it, the combination is very intricate, lots of little tricks to get him combined, he has a nice look to him once he's combined, and even in the train and bot modes, i would've liked to have him when i was a kid

Yet they made RID trains? and the Micromaster (Universe) trains? I'm just hoping they make a reissue version of him one day that I'll grab, the original is just way too expensive. On a side question where did you pick upo the KO Raiden? I wouldn't mind picking one up in the mean time.

Hmm... the Raiden KO that I got came with stickers... maybe a different version?

You can always quickly touch them up with some testors, shouldn't take more then an afternoon to do so.
