Movie Year effect on Prices

Hey,

I was just wondering what has happened (if anything) to existing stock in stores when the movie toys hit shelves in the past?

This would be my first movie year where I was collecting, more interested and I'm pretty thrifty so I was hoping there would some sales, on Beast Hunters figures if nothing else.

What does history dictate?

There should be sales next month before the movie toys come out. And then sales once the movie comes out.

Well that's good to hear. I've got that to look forward to as well as hoping yard sales and flea markets pay out for me. I regretfully think of all the great finds I must have missed in recent years but I'm sure there's lots to be found.

Beast Hunters Deluxe figures are already on sale at $5 at Walmart for awhile now.. just need the Voyagers to go for 50% or more off too....
Would love to see the Generations IDW go for $10 again...

Already some places are starting sales

Walmart for the past couple of weeks have been putting all Beast Hunters Deluxes at 5 bucks to move the stock, come May 1st. It will all be ghosts.
