Omega Supreme: Genesis X vs BBTS Exclusive

Genesis X is too expensive.

YOTS Omega just doesn't look enough like the G1 Omega Supreme I used to have for me to want it. Mainly it's the legs I don't like--but the head looks too small to me as well.

Here are my thoughts and humble opinion about Planet X Genesis (sorry, didn't get time to take pictures):

PROS:
- Massive and impressive (I'm a sucker for big robots), 3.8 Kg! :P
- Really close to his game representation
- Solid plastic (equal or even more than TFC Hercules)
- Have to give them credit for that: great figure for a first try (no real QC issue for now to notice)
- Great articulations
- Great stability despite his small feets, but still have to balance the whole thing in some positions (not like I was expecting something else with those massive arms)

CONS:
- No face under the visor (come on Planet X or anyone else! Make us an add-on with a real face and transluscent visor)
- Joints on the elbow tend not to be strong enougth for the weight of the arms in order to put them in any position (especially horizontally).

NEUTRALS (i.e. I don't really care):
- No official base mode (some people got a few hints about the arms together to form a rocket with torso as a launch pad)
- Alt mode with a few partforming (from his left hand)

Global opinion: Glad I bought it, and recommand it if you like the FOC style and can affort it.

PS: Didn't got YOTS only because I already own the 2 Energon ones

This Genesis X is really starting to grow on me. I like the fact that it is huge and the LEDs that come with it are very cool indeed as well. The clear visor doesn't bother me that it isn't present. Although it would be a nice addition. Does anyone have a United WFC Megs to do some game shots? I wanna see them together.

With the new Titan Metroplex coming soon, I will say either u hold off to see if Hasbro is going to release a new G1 ish Omega Supreme, haha, or you should just get the BBTS Exclusive for now. After seeing the Metroplex, I think I should stay away from 3rd Party stuff as much as possible!

With YOTS Omega, I don't see them releasing another big Omega anytime soon. It IS their G1-ish Omega. At least for now.

EDIT: Looking again at YOTS Omega, I really don't see why people say it has a premium paint job, it doesn't appear to have any more paint apps than the original toy.
