The only thing I don't like is the claw fingers look a little thin. I am making new ones on shapeway.

Also if anyone was thinking about Genesis, it has been confirmed it doesn't have a face under the visor.

I really can't see how to value the Genesis at 3x more than YOTS, without a face and without a base mode...

YOTS has no base mode, and 4 shitty made up alt modes (ok, 1 of the 4 is acceptable... but it's really just an arm and a leg straighten up). Plus, they gutted his electronics and he lost the Headmaster feature. Where's his value? He costs more than the original...

I agree with your sentiments about the alt mode and the electronics. I love the new head sculp, claw and paint scheme. Some would argue that those are the reasons it costs more than the original... you wouldn't expect those upgrades to cost less now would you?

Besides, *I* don't see the value in Genesis so I won't be buying it. Great thing about this hobby, you buy what *you* like not what others tell you to.

So far the word from those who has it in hand is Genesis has no base more either, so not sure what your point about YOTS is.

Your alt mode oppinion is no more valuble. YOTS alt mode appeared in TV show, Genesis alt modes appeared in Game. Not sure how they are made up? Is YOTS Battlecruiser, Train, Crane, Canon and better or worse that Genesis Shapeship mode? Not really, that is opinion, but at least YOTS has choices.

It has a nice head sculpt, and neither it or Genesis have head masters features. +1 for Genesis having a Head to tank, +1 YOST for having a face.

How much was YOST original toy? Even at $60, with a new head, arm and premium paint it is worth $100.

You tell me where the value is in $300 WFC Genesis?

I just really hope for all of you who do buy Genesis, that the same company doesn't burn you a few months down the road for a $40 new head with a face.

you know seeing as how this company prices their stuff, I'm not sure 40 bucks would cover that, if it were to happen...
