ROTF Leader Megatron..Here Comes Trouble!

About a year ago I made a friend a repaint of Leader Megatron. I think he came out pretty awesome and rather bad ass.


When ROTF came out, I LOVED the new Megs..But I wanted him beat to hell again. The guys been buried in the ocean, now formed again from beat up destroyed parts, and I'm sure he's in a few fights..So, I wanted to bruise him up again.


It's still a WIP this time, instead of spraying him silver and then adding the black, this time I sprayed him with a hammered black that added a nice layer of grit to him, and then I've added some gun metal grey, and next will be regular grey and then some silver highlights. Then I'll add some more black staining and some gold and copper wash and highlights.

Now why doesn't Hasbro attempt to do this level of paint jobs? I know the answer, but it had to be said.

I'm loving it, I can't stand how bland the new Megatron toy looks. I'll have to do a similar "upgrade" paint job, add more silver on the shoulder and gimp arm but that'll have to wait till I get this beast on sale.
