Re: Transformers Universe Deluxe Wave 4 Released at Canadian Retail

i broke down and bought hound, cyclonus, and starscream at silver snail. i'd like to have been able to pick them up for the cheaper price that wal-mart has, but i'm not willing to wait so long for them to show up. even if there show up in a week, thats just too damn long now. i need freaking toys damn it. so when will we see the new animated stuff???

Heh - agreed with you on the Animated stuff.

I figured we'd have at LEAST gotten Shockwave and Skywarp by now.

And yeah - I kinda broke down as well - I picked up Cyclonus early for a premium price, and got Dinobot this week also at a premium (Diamond shipped Wave 5 of Universe to stores, so I picked him up at Metropolis Toys).

Would have gotten Hound early except a) there weren't any that weren't on hold for other customers and b) I'm afraid of sticky paint issues and want a retail one to be safe

Good! I feel like I've been waiting for ages for this wave. Well, I guess it's been well over two months since I completed wave three, and that feels like ages! Getting them all except cheetor (I just have never been able to get into the beastie thing).

I'm so glad I listened to the advice from folks here that said the classic/universe line is worth it.

Meh I just bought the Henkei versions instead, I was going to wait on Hound as the Hasbro paint is actually acceptable, but I really don't feel like tracking him down.

Heh.

I keep waffling on Hound... I keep telling myself "He's fine", but then I see a Henkei photocomparison and have to talk myself out of wanting that one with the "but look at how much he is" argument.

Mind you, I DID cave on Henkei Convoy despite having the Classics version.

I picked these up last month when I was in the States.

The Cyclonus figure is everything I could have asked for!

Oh, where oh where can my Cyclonus be?
The Lord took him away from me
He's gone to heaven, so I got to be good
So I can see my Cyclonus when I leave this world.

What's with everyone smashing the art of the hunt lately...am I the only one who finds tracking down figures that much more rewarding? Sure i like getting a package in the mail like everyone else but theres nothing like feastin' your eyes on that hard to get toy hung up there on that peg and thinkin'... "Anyone in the world could have somehow found this toy before me, but they didn't! and now it's allllllllll mine! (insert SNAG emoticon here)" Now to get on topic...I'm dying for these figures to finally reach stores around here, as well as the new Ani wave. I keep telling myself i might not SS or Cheetor but im sure i'll cave and buy all 4 when i see them.
