I wish my bank/credit union would consider my toy collection as my asset when I ask for a mortgage, but collecting is more of a liability

Too funny. My mortgage is up for renewal in March so we've been shopping around and getting pre-approvals. One application asked whether I had any "rare collectibles" (i.e., coins, art, etc.) as assets and I asked if my toy collection would count. My wife just rolled her eyes and the Mortgage Broker kinda laughed at me...

That's perfect actually, I'll be able to pay for it then. Vacations are nice.. but afterwards when you get paid half paycheques.. ( -_-)

Yeah, really! I'm actually glad it got delayed though, if it came out Christmas I wouldn't have been able to afford it. It's Takara's Christmas present to us!
