Woohoo! eBay reactived the auction so now I can send out 2nd chance offers. Who knew customer support can be so nice?

When I won that MISB Pretender Starscream last month the seller actually had the same issue. The winner (bid of $200) cancelled his entire account and it took the whole auction down with it. The seller sent out a 2nd chance offer before that happened though, and I was the first to respond, which is the only reason I was lucky enough to get it for $70 or whatever.

But *after* I paid the entire listing and transaction history was deleted. The seller apologized for it, but he couldn't get the listing back up. It seemed totally sketchy but it the item eventually did show up. I couldn't actually leave feedback though, which added to the strangeness.

bring in your tub of items with an inventory list or not, watch them sort it and do they offer you a value for each item or all at once?

I've got a ton load of Star Wars stuff i need to unload soon.

Well, when they're about to "appraise" your stuff they ask you to go wait inside but if you stick around you can sorta barter figure-by-figure. They usually scribble down the value on a list and hand you the total.

Of course, if you speak to them personally I'm sure you can work out a value that's comfortable with you.

I say this all because last time I traded in loads of random stuff and I felt the total wasn't EXACTLY what I think it was worth..
