So here's the WIP thread for my Primal, as always looking for feedback and suggestions.
using the TFTM Stockade as my base mold, this is whats been done so far:
Step 1) Steal Primal pieces from Cybertron beast Prime
Step 2) slide off Stockade's chest and put aside as we'll need the shoulders that make up the back of the car later.
(don't have a picture)
Step 3) make room for new head in Stockade's chest
Step 4) Let's get an idea for how much room have to play around with...
Step 5) Since we have lots of room by his wrist there, lets cut off the hands and use the punching/slide gimmick
to replicate some pop out wrist blasters using these from TFTM Dropkick/Salvage
Next step is to find some good Classicy hands (I'm thinking Straxus/Skullgrin if I can bare to cut mine up if someone's got one for cheap I can buy off you let me know) so that when he gets his swords he'll have some good pose-able hands.
Then bring out the dremel and start cutting exess plastic off his upper arms to make room for that chest plate.
Finally, see if I can classic-ify his boots some so they are less movie detailed.
Ideally, if there's room, I wanna try and work in some flip over cannons but that'll be a bonus.
So as I said, open to thoughts, ideas, critiques, yay/nay, and as always - free beer.
