Is scale really important in your collection?
For me, scale is really important for bot modes. For the bulk of my feature collection anyway. I collect all kinds of stuff, but my primary Transformers lineup is MP scaled.
I don't have a preference for who makes my characters though. I have a Generations Sandstorm, CW Devastator, MP Prowl all together and I comprimised a wee bit on scale with Windblade in there. I also know Devastator is a bit small to scale with MP but I overlook that since he's really big.
Anything that's not close to MP scale is still cool but I don't like to display them together. Maybe it's OCD.
What's it like for you?

Re: Is scale really important in your collection?
I only collect chug scale figures now.. I try to get them as close as possible. If they're a class bigger or smaller its not a deal breaker for me. I go for what is the best i can have with my budget or what is available (unicron/primus). Its only when u have a bumblee that is leader class or legends optimus that really bugs me. As for combiners i just want them all roughly the same height. Thats why i skipped cw devy.

Re: Is scale really important in your collection?
Yeah that was an odd choice for Devastator to be the only large combiner. I've often wondered what their reasoning was for that. On that note, have you ever seen the upgrade kit for the G1 Devastator that gives him thighs, better arm parts and a lot more articulation/height? With that mod, he nearly fits with the Combiner Wars combiners.

To some degree yes. But only for robot modes.

When I display in alt modes I like to have them in scale where they are close to one another. That's where I love having the legends scale stuff around. The legends carbots fit beautifully with MP Seekers. Makes for some cool photos.

Not for me. My only criteria is if it looks cool I buy it.

Re: Is scale really important in your collection?
I try to stick to an mp scale now. But ive thrown a few chug scales in the mix as i see them scaling to the bigger bots.
For example: even though i havve kfc reflwctor i personally think they are way to big for mp so i have a set of perflect effects reflector on display at the moment. I mean come on, they transform into a camera and are pictured bot much bigger than spike in several shots on the original show.
On another note i adopted the xharacter of the surgeon from micheal bays film but he is represented on the mp shelf by the kfc surgeon figure that is meant for chug scale. Fits in quite nicely

Re: Is scale really important in your collection?
I definitely need some scale between my bots, but not to an exact science. I have a ton of MPs, but plenty of other lines scale good enough for me with them, like CW Devastator.
A legends Optimus next to a Leader Bumblebee Bee would drive me insane !!!!
