Parking at doubletree
I was wondering if parking will be free on the parking lot beside the hotel? If so, where is the entrance to it? Last couple yrs I've been able to get away with parking at the convention centre but came close to getting the boot last yr.

Re: Parking at doubletree
We parked at the congress centre when we went to Anime North today, and that was free.

While yes that's true and it's all fine and dandy, but if you got a hotel room and are staying at TFcon for the weekend, you can't keep your car in the TCC parking lot (Toronto Congress Center, where Anime North is). It will get towed away overnight.
Parking AT the Doubletree if you have a hotel room is something like $10 bucks a day. Last I remember.

Yeah but if you park there for Tfcon you'll get threatened to be towed. I tried to park their last year and was told to move or I'd get towed. So I parked beside the hotel, which was only $10.

Re: Parking at doubletree
protoman's correct.the last 2 years in a row,as long as you're staying at the doubletree,it's only 10 bucks per day to park.
but about the convention center parking, i actually did see two vehicles get towed from there during the convention,a miata during the daytime and a dakota during the evening, both times while out having a smoke
i guess it's more of a gamble to park over there.

Re: Parking at doubletree
Is it $10 per day at the Doubletree (if you're staying there), no matter the number of ins and outs you do?

You can gamble it and park at the Toronto Convention Center (a lot of people do), but if your not a betting man (where your car being towed is the chips) then it's also $10 bucks to park at the hotel.
