As Peter Griffin from Family Guy would say, "Ya know what grinds my gears.." Well Canadian stores that charge in USD. I understand that the Canadian dollar is soft and the purchase price of the actual figures is bought by the retailer at USD and we have to pay that plus the exchange and of course the store has to make a profit, granted. However, and this is what kinda pisses me off, these stores charge us the Canadian provincial sales tax, which I understand too, but they charge it in US Dollars. So we pay the PST or HST+the exchange. Shouldn't Canadian taxes be paid in Canadian funds or offer some sort of discount program to the customer to reimburse the difference of the tax and conversion?? Maybe I'm just ranting.
or maybe this is just the cost of doing business?
