Will I have to pay duty?

Out of 60 or so figures, never paid anything at all ever. Knock on high quality plastic. AE, uncle billy, tf-direct, ebay, zero issues thus far. One thing I do is multiple small orders so it's never a giant $500 package coming through customs.

I got nailed for fees on MP Ramjet.

I don't feel too butthurt about it, of course, dems da rules, but for those keeping score on what's what, here's the facts:

Bought from BBTS.
Took over 3 weeks in transit (I'm in BC)
Value was $179 USD
Paid about $40 CDN (taxes and a $10 handling fee).
The box was large (Seeker size. Of four BBTS purchases, only two were dinged: this, and MP10. It's still not conclusive, though, because I had a box with reissue Pirahnacon and Predaking together...and no fees)

For what it's worth were getting ripped because we're forced to buy a product that should be available here in most cases what I would wonder is the duty cost per item retailers pay as it seems per item when we buy is quite expensive percentage wise any one know this ?

Well yes and no. The charges that we pay when we get dinged at the border are sales tax on our purchase which we would pay if we could buy the item locally. The only extra charge we pay when we import is the 10$ handling fee.
