Re: Earthrise appreciation thread

Someone does need to start a Ironworks adoption agency though.

Sunstreaker has a nice G1-esque Transformation but that window into the legs is especially tight on my copy. Window pops-out so perhaps my legs are misaligned?

I had this on my first transformation but fixed itself with later ones.

It probably would have been more popular if the obvious shovel claw they gave him as a chest could actually be properly used as such... what a weird design. The giant body block is really difficult to use.

It feels like you should be able to turn him into all sorts of different buildings but it's not a versatile enough design for it, and it doesn't work as a weaponizer as well due to the ramps. You got one decent base mode and a second pseudo mode that sorta looks the part, and a pretty good robot mode (IMO)

I do like Ironworks myself, however. Maybe if they discount it I'll get a second one and see what you can do by combining them?

What is it about Airwave/Hothouse that makes people more interested?

They're new. It's the only reason.

Not liking that new Sunstreaker, especially the lower legs. Looks like he has Lego weapon sprues as shins...

Re: Earthrise appreciation thread

I got Smokescreen yesterday, aside from minor transformation issues this figure is incredible. Not only does it look nice but it can pull off poses I never expected a Deluxe to be capable of. The clear plastic parts are worrisome for the future, but as of now this guy's a winner.
