The reason I asked was that over on TFW there were a few discruntled customers in the Online order thread, in regards to customer service issues, but most the posts were 1 -2 yrs old. there was nothing recent that I could see.

I don't mind paying up front too much, but with these delays, the orders are getting 6 months old and I don't know what paypal does on old orders if I ever have issues, say the company craps out.

So if I buy more it might be with HLJ or amiami, that way if there are any issues I won't have a fight to get my money back.

So I am quite convinced that NY has some major frak up with their shipping charge.

I ordered Kotobukiya D-style Starscream and Skywarp & Thundercracker 2 pack from Amiami. They are charging me 1180 JPY for Unregistered SAL shipping. HLJ is charging 1280 JPY for the same shipping serivce.

But NY is charging 2190 JPY to ship these 2 items with Unregistered SAL!

I did not order MP-25/26/27 from NY because their shipping rate is just much higher than what I think would cost.

Yup, they definitely went full retard with their shipping costs. I used to buy from them a lot as they usually middleman premium bandai webshop stuff.

I stopped when they decided to charge me 2100 for registered sal for an item the was the same size as a previous thing I bought which cost around 780 for RSAL. When I contacted them about it they said the item box was a different size so it was more expensive, so I took the hit as I wouldn't be able to find it anywhere else, but once it got delivered the box was the exact same size as the previous item which cost 780 for the exact same shipping. So that was the last time I used NY lol.
