Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
I agree, reprolabels seems the way to go. I'm still on the fence between that and spray painting purple stripes on silver matte paper or directly on the wings. For now, I stick to the easier solution, statue quo.
Thanks to all for watching and for the feedback!

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
This seemed to be the place to post this. This guy srill needs some stickers (which I will make from left over sticker sheet bits I have around) and a bit more drying time before I can transform him. So robot mode for now.

Wow, great job! The silver canons are really standing out nicely!

Thanks. I was going to mask the canon's and then do them in black with a couple points of silver, but there is something about the straight silver that appeals to me.
Oddly enough, waiting to apply coats and for SW to dry enough to put together felt about the same as waiting for a pre-ordered toy to arrive. I think I'll be doing a bunch more of this repainting business.

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
Did you use tamiya spary can or air brush with your own mixed paint?

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
Looks real nice, just need to touch up those spray missed little bits of sunstorm.
It looks amazing,
when I spray my customs, there always seems to be something that gets missed and you don't know until it's assembled.
I would go with repolabels unless your 100% confident with your masking skills!

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
I wish I was brave enough to do this. MP-11 Skywarp seems like an eternity away. Well done!

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
For mine, I used spray cans. It's probably the easiest option if you don't own a air compressor. I have read something about take your time and I can confirm. Going slow and applying very thin layer of paint is the way to go.
