Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
Thanks a lot!
The base figure was Hasbro Sunstorm, disassembled part by part and repainted. I used Tamiya spray paint Mica silver, metallic black and purple. For detalling, mainly to repaint the head, I used acrylic black.
Learned a lot on spray painting from tamiya website and gundam modelling youtube videos... and Layman's gunpla website for spray paint matching. Great ressource to check before hitting the hobby shop.
Now, I just need to find some reprolabels for the final touch...

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
Cool, I just started the same project this weekend with Thundercracker. Did you have any trouble getting at the screws on the fuselage and lower legs?

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
Of course! Jet mode:
Regarding lower legs, I had a lot of trouble removing the leg small compartments. I used a little bit of acetone and a small screwdriver to push away. The key idea is to push carefully from the center of the leg towards the outside. That being said, I did not disassemble the wing... I tried but I was afraid of breaking the wing.

Re: Custom MP-11 Skywarp
I like it but the wings need something IMO
