I actually have something of a starwars batt;e going on in my foyer with a bunch of x wing and tie fighters hung from the roof with fishing line...

If you want a "stealth" look you can easily take
6 lb test, for bigger figure, like unicron, i dont know
what it weight but 6 or 8 lb test should be enough.
To be safe you only have to weight your tf and take
fhishing line that test at half his weight, just watch
for sharp edge on the figure.

Fishing line and twine will usually do the trick. At one time or another I've had Deluxe seekers hanging from the ceilings as well as Marvel Legends figures (Green Goblin chasing Spider-Man), things like that. I've also found you can dangle some figures off of thumb tacks or push pins to have them hanging off the backing of shelves or off of walls. Animated Blackarachnia, ROTF Ransack, Classics Acid Storm and Animated Lockdown are all hanging that way. You just need to fiddle with them to find a way to have them hooked on the tack head without falling off.

Not a jet, but had a sweet web made out of a light test fishing line and hung in the corner of my bedroom at the ceiling with Black Arachnia on it back in the college days. My girlfriend absolutely refused to go anywhere near the room as long as it was up, she totally hates spiders of any kind. Couldn't have been too traumatic though, she's now my wife.
