Hmm.. I think the Hasbro Leader Jetfire looks better... but that's just me.

How hard would it be to do this weathered look on Kronos? Or any figure for that matter (thinking of Hasbro MP Sunstorm). I think this makes Kronos look 10x better.

Ok... Just transformed him to robot mode and back and I upgrade my review to positive. Not sure I can recommend him to others since it is a crapshoot. But I really like this guy, flaws and all.

That look mostly comes from inkling in panel lines which Is relatively easy on the scale of customizing complexity. And it looks fantasic.

Re: Daca Toys Kronos: to buy or not to buy
For me, after seeing the reviews and pics, my gut tells me it's not worth it. It looks decent enough, but the engineering isn't up to snuff for a toy that's almost $200. There are better 3rd party toys that you could spend that money on.
When I look at it in videos, it doesn't look like it would survive a fall off a one foot shelf.
The Hasbro one is good enough for me and at 1/4 the price.
If you desperately need a G1-esq Skyfire, just wait. I'm sure more will be coming along from other 3rd party companies.

Re: Daca Toys Kronos: to buy or not to buy
i actually held one in my hand at tfcon this year and it felt really big, hollow and delicate.for me personally,i'm going to wait for the upcoming leader jetfire.
but for screen accuracy,it's a good statue
again though,big,hollow and delicate.

Re: Daca Toys Kronos: to buy or not to buy
Just pulled the trigger on this guy. Hoping for a good one, if not they'll replace or I'll repair. The worst defect I've seen is Pascal's broken foot and I agree with his earlier comment to the effect of, it's a must buy piece of crap.

Yes, that is why he is horrible looking. Most of the Masterpiece aren't screen accurate anyways. If they make everything 100% accurate, most of the masterpiece will look like poo. This thing isn't masterpiece, but charging a masterpiece price in my opinion. I am like the others, prefer Generation Leader Jetfire over this.
