Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

Hi! I know there are many places I can get the Henkei Thrust and Dirge, but where do you get yours for pre-order? Where has the best price including shipping?

I'd be surprised if the guys at Soul of Anime in Richmond Centre don't get their hands on a couple Henkei coneheads when they come out.

I don't know if they have "connections" at the factories but I've seen loose and boxed stuff come through their store months before the product shelf date.

That reminds me...I should check them out for Henkei Thundercracker.

Pretty sure Automaton will have them.

I bet if they have it, the price will be very expensive compare to any online store. I have very bad experience buying from them before especially on Gundam, stuff there is way over price. For example, MP04 is 299 and MP05 is 200, Henkei Starscream is 35. I haven't buy from them for a very long time! I may order from Automaton toys, but I just want to see if I have any other option that can save even more. They aren't cheap you know?

Re: Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

I think the best price for Canadians right now is through Automaton Toys. With the US/CDN exchange rate as low as it is, all of the stores selling these guys with a price in US dollars are more expensive.

The next best suppliers are not stores: Bodhar2000 on TFW2005 and AnimeXHobby on Cybertron.ca have the next best prices, though I'm not sure if AnimeXHobby is still accepting orders.

TF Source, Big Bad Toy Store, Digital Toys, and Robot Kingdom can get you your cone heads reliably, but you'll pay more for them.

AnimeXHobby told me he quits selling tf. So how much is Bodhar2000 selling them for? Anyone know him? Can I trust him?

Re: Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

Bodhar2000 has both for $130 USD shipped.

I got Henkei Thundercracker and Skywarp from him with no problems.

His feedback: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/junkio...odhar2000.html

Re: Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

I would love to get Thrust and Dirge but the price is way over the top for just plastic deluxe figures. It's up for pre-order at Automaton for $166.97 + $8.99 S/H, but I know you guys know this already. Ugh... so unfair... the price that is.

Has there ever been a time when a Japanese exclusive mould gets an eventual Hasbro release for retail over here?

Re: Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

I've got mine pre-ordered through Automaton, the price is steep for two deluxes, but I figure it's cheaper than trying to track down the Botcon figures.

Cheers!

Re: Where to get Thrust and Dirge?

I will wait to see more reply first before I decided. 130 USD + exchange rate charge, i think about same pricee as Automaton Toys, but maybe 15 dollars cheaper. I now have Bodhar2000 seller on TFW2005 in my mind for now!
