LOL. Well, their first mistake I guess was not pushing in the legs for headstrong and tantrum, giving predaking some mightily long ankles. But maybe that's what they were going for?

Not sure if anything else is mistransformed or if it's just the effect of the crazydevy pieces.

I believe it's based on the CD version. Just like those 2 upgrade kit for Devastator are also based on the CD one.
