You can request a sticker from them which you can place on your door. I believe its called a SNR or DNR sticker, which means signature not required.

You can also enter the tracking number on their website and request for them to leave a package at your door without a signature I believe.

That's good to know.

Although while inconvenient, at least I know my packages are safe when they go back tomthe pickup location

To get the sticker you need to sign up for it at one of their depots.

Thanks for the tip, didn't know that was an option.

The Purolator rep told me signature was required, and didn't give me any other alternatives.

I don't blame GS to make the signature required, probably had to do with a high number of complaints of porchside thefts.

As Purolator only delivers on weekdays, I've switched my delivery preference to my workplace.

But honestly I don't mind the extra trip to a depot if it keeps my stuff safe too.

The only way to get purolator to drop packages without a signature it to call them and ask them to send you a SNR sticker and form for you to fill out

I got one of those stickers and ever since putting it on the door window Purolator has just dropped packages on my porch, no signature. But we have few porch pirates here so if package theft is an issue where you live you may want to weigh the risk.

The purolator depot is a 40 minute drive from my house so getting the SNR sticker was a necessity.

It's also handy if you're out of town when something is delivered. Well, as long as you have a neighbor or friend who will get the package and hold it for you. I've been out of the country for the last few weeks and wasn't home when Ironhide and Dead-End were delivered, but the neighbor watching our pets got them and put them in the house. If they were sent back to the depot I likely would have been SOL.

Especially since Gamestop has been shipping pre-orders months earlier then the expected ship dates and they usually only update the release dates on the website a day before they ship the order. So you aren't able to cancel the order.
