Re: Post your hauls
Haven't had a haul in a little while.
- X360 game: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition [ MISB, from Best Buy online]
- Sanwa JLFP1 - JLF joystick mounting plate [from FocusAttack]
- Sanwa GTYR8 - 8-way restrictor gate [from FocusAttack]
- Sanwa LB30 - Black joystick bat-top [from FocusAttack]
- a pair of Bollé prescription sunglasses (Bollé 70113 Versailles Medium Aluminum) [from ClearlyContacts]
Yay for CanadaPost being back to work. I'm finally getting the arcade joystick parts that I ordered 3 weeks ago. Just in time for SSF4AE, though it's not like my new sticks are ready to go either.
The prescription sunglasses were pretty much FREE as part of the ClearlyContacts 10000 free frames giveaway; I say "pretty much free" because I had to pay for the extras (tinting, UV protection, shipping). Still, I ended up saving like.. $150 or something.

Re: Post your hauls
Picked up a Marmot Nano Jacket. At only 8 ounces, this jacket feels like you're wearing nothing. 100% rainproof too. Can't wait to field test this baby this weekend!

8 ounces? That's crazy. If it's rainproof, I'm assuming that it's also windproof, but does it keep warm in any way?
Back onto hauls: second part for today:
- NDS game: Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D [ MISP, from local Best Buy]

Yes, it's windproof! This is a shell, so it's meant to be layered. It's really meant for physical activity. Because I hike and ski a lot, I needed something super light for long hiking trips. Something I could wear that kept me dry, but breathed, so I don't drown in my sweat or get too steamed up. During winter hikes, I would normally just wear a t-shirt, base layer and a shell like this one. No need for a fleece. It's good for city use as well, but you would need to layer accordingly, since it is just a shell. It'll keep you warm, but not from the winter cold. You can't just wear a shirt and this shell like in the spring or fall, for example. You'd need a fleece in the winter since you aren't as active commuting to work or whatever. It's cut more slender than most outdoor gear. And it looks sharp. I've already gotten a lot of looks and comments from strangers already. Bottom line, if you want 100% waterproof and windproof, that's super light; this is it.

Damn, that sounds like a nice outer layer. I don't do much hiking or skiing, but I feel like I should go grab one. Rather, I think I know someone I should get one for. Are they expensive?

It's a gortex paclite, so it's a bit pricey. The 2011 version, which is what I have, will run you about $225-$250, depending on where you get it. The previous years versions are at discounts at most places if you can find them, about $175 or so. The difference is, the 2011 version has adjustable velcro cuffs, and better colors, while the previous one doesn't.

Picked up Captain America wave 2 figuers, Crossbones, Red Skull, BuckyCap, Movie Cap and 2 USAgents. Going to have to pick up another BuckyCap he is great....had to wade through a ton of crappy painted figures....smears smudges and missing paint apps. Good luck finding a good one.

Re: Post your hauls
Small haul for me; been waiting for this for a loooong time.
- Reboot - The Definitive Mainframe Edition [ MISP, from Amazon.ca]
Whoohooooo! I realized I pretty much never caught anything in Seasons 3 + 4 back when it was airing on YTV (I didn't have cable at the time, so I could only watch it whenever it happened to be on when I was at my aunt & uncle's place).
