Nice Easter gift...hidden in there as well! Are there alot more Velocitron sets out there on shelves or was it just for a week or two about a month ago?

I haven’t seen any since. I’m guessing at most each store got one shipment if any with three in a box.

I asked TRU's website customer support a while back to check all TRUs in Ontario for the speed set's SKU

At the time (maybe few weeks ago), they claimed there were some at Windsor, Whitby & StCatharines TRUs

I then messaged each of those stores to confirm stock; Windsor & Whitby confirmed actually zero stock, but StCatharines offered to hold one for me at the cash (bit of a drive from Ottawa/Gatineau though, didn't go after it)

When someone the other day confirmed speed sets @ StCatharines, I thought "ah yes, as described"

Anyways, I don't think it's a re-release or anything - the three sets I found at the Gatineau TRU were on clearance, and had three or four layers of tape on the box seals with only top layer still intact, suggesting been opened/re-opened
I believe they might be old stock that went through returns process and now particular stores are attempting to offload them

With that said, I'm glad I found them, just in time to use one of my last Kellogg's coupons on it (couldn't use WWS $20 off $50+ coupon on clearance item)

I know this is off topic, but what is this Kellogg coupon some members have spoken of & where can I get one too?

I'd assume by purchasing Kellogg's Cereal.

It usually runs in the fall every year by a cereal get a$5 voucher with two box tops or something like that. In the past it was much better. By a box of cereal get a $20 voucher towards any toy

Yup, buy two specially marked Kellogg's cereals (artwork on box depicts a wrapped present), interior of each box has a code inside

Register on Kelloggs' website, redeem two codes, choose one of two coupons:
- any toy under $10 for free
- $10 off a $25+ toy

Three coupons maximum per household

I personally used Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops & the brown sugar MiniWheats (and two mailing addresses)

Thank you gentlemen, I guess I need to start visiting the cereal aisle come fall.

If the Kellogg cereal is at the same Wal*Mart with the Transformer that is wanted, than it could be done almost all at th same time.

If I recall they mail out the coupons to you, and there are limited quantities as well.

It's decent if you eat those cereal brands though.

I guess the registration makes sense, measures consumer engagement in the promotion.

Maybe more of these Velocitron sets will still appear and let’s hope Hasbro will still send product to Toys R Us Canada as the upcoming auction should create some more certainty.
