TRbox set mystery

So what were the figures that were supposed to come in the last two TR box sets?

Intelligence set
Leader - ?
Voyager - ?
Deluxe - Arcee with Lienad
Legends - Wingspan (as seen on Ultra Magnus' artwork)
Titan Master - Ultra Magnus

Firepower set
Leader - ?
Voyager - ?
Deluxe - Grotusque with Fengul
Legends - Cloudraker (the only remaining clone)
Titan Master - Scorponok


The artwork for the intelligence set looks like it may have been complete and chopped up for Arcee and Ultra Magnus, so there may be an answer. Not so sure with the Firepower set.

Optimus repainted as Optimus for both, they did for the other two sets

I have no insights. Maybe a Soundblaster or Twincast repaint in one of the sets? Maybe Leo Prime?

The Leaders in this line don't have very versatile designs so I'm not sure what else they could have done.

We were supposed to get a god bomber armor set in one of them that goes with the powermaster prime/ginrai mold.

I always assumed Soundblaster or Twincast, since those were easy, and God Bomber was hinted at, other then that, no idea.

Some people assumed the G2ish Takara Megatron as well.

The original rumour was for a deluxe called Iron Apex (Downshift can corroborate).

It was never known if it would work with prime or not. And it wasnt the Leader Takara gave us.

If I were to take a shot in the dark, I'd surmise we might see G2 Megatron in the green deco pattern, not the Combat Hero colours Takara has ultimately gone with, a Soundblaster would be easy enough, or TwinCast, God Bomber would have been nice, though I'm not sure if it would have happened.

And last, but certainly not least, in keeping with the Victory inspired figures, it might have been interesting to see an Astrotrain repainted as Raiden, or perhaps they could have heavily remolded him into Armada Jetfire to go with Tidal Wave.
